The Rescued Film Project discovered a record lot of 31 rolls of film by the same, unknown World War II soldier. Without knowing what they might hold, the project’s founder, Levi Bettwieser, delicately developed each roll to get as many usable images as possible. The resulting array of images provides a fascinating, haunting slideshow of one soldier’s experience, now available to view for the first time. Check out the beautiful video of the process and results.
