Art Honoring the American Worker at the Smithsonian

“The Sweat of Their Face: Portraying American Workers” is an exhibition at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C. The show takes an in-depth look at art pieces throughout the past 200 years that capture U.S. laborers. Dorothea Lange, Lewis Hine, and Winslow Homer are just some of the many American artists with works on display.
