SPONSOR: The sponsor of the Ovation's 2nd Annual Short Film Contest ("Contest") is Ovation, LLC ("Sponsor"), with offices located at 2850 Ocean Park Blvd Suite 225, Santa Monica, CA 90405.

CONTEST DESCRIPTION: The Contest begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Pacific Time on March 7, 2011 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. on May 13, 2011 ("End Date"). The Contest provides an opportunity for filmmakers to develop and exhibit their filmmaking talent. One film will be selected as the winner for each of the following five categories: Top Film, Viewers Choice, Best of Comedy, Best of Drama, Best of Animation, and Best of Documentary. The Top Film winner will have his or her film aired on the Ovation television network and receive a two (2) night trip to Los Angeles, CA for an on-ground screening of his or her film and meeting with an executive or equivalent at Ovation or other entertainment company, as described below. The Viewers' Choice, Best of Comedy, Best of Drama, Best of Animation, and Best of Documentary winners will have their films screened at a major cultural institution selected by Sponsor and receive other great prizes, as described below. By participating in the Contest, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor which shall be final and binding in all respects.

ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open only to residents of the 50 United States of America or the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of their time of entry. Employees of Sponsor, its prize providers and licensors, and each of the foregoing entities' affiliates, authorized designees and other related entities, and any other individual or entity associated with the development, judging, or administration of the Contest (collectively "Contest Entities"), as well as members of such employees' immediate families (spouses, children, siblings, parents), and persons living in the same household as such persons, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

HOW TO ENTER: There are four genre categories available for entry: Drama, Comedy, Animation, and Documentary. To enter, (a) create an original short film in one of the genre categories with a running time of 20 minutes or less in DVD, VHS, or miniDV format ("Film"); (b) complete the Official Entry Form (indicating the category for which you wish to be eligible) and release; and (c) mail your Film properly labeled with your hand-printed name, address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, Film title, and entry genre to the following address: Ovation, LLC, Attn: Entry – Ovation's 2nd Annual Short Film Contest, 2850 Ocean Park Blvd Suite 225, Santa Monica, CA 90405.

TERMS OF ENTRY: By participating in the Contest, you represent and warrant that your Film (a) is your original work and owned exclusively by you; (b) does not infringe or violate the rights of any third party, including, without limitation, copyrights, trademarks, contract rights, rights of publicity or privacy, moral rights, or any other intellectual property rights; (c) is not subject to any third party agreements, and that Sponsor will not be required to pay or incur any sums to any person or entity as a result of its ownership, acquisition, use or exploitation of the Film or rights therein; and (d) does not contain any content that is likely to be considered offensive by the Sponsor or could adversely affect the name, reputation, or goodwill of Sponsor. Entries must be received by Sponsor by May 13, 2011 to be eligible.
