Ovation HD Launches on Time Warner Cable in Carolinas and Dallas Metro; and on Bright House Networks in California

WOW! Launches Ovation in SD and HD in Chicago; Mediacom Launches Ovation in the Gulf Breeze Florida Market

SANTA MONICA, CA - January 4, 2012  Ovation is celebrating the start of the New Year with the announcement of several new SD and HD launches.  Ovation HD has launched in the Carolinas and Dallas metro area with Time Warner Cable, as well as in  Bakersfield, CA on Bright House Networks. In addition, WOW! Internet, Cable and Phone launched Ovation and Ovation HD in Chicago, and Mediacom launched Ovation in the Gulf Breeze Florida market.  

Ovation has increased its HD subscriber base by 85% since January 2011 while increasing its SD service’s sub base by 5M during the same time period.
“Our momentum over the last year has been very encouraging, especially with regard to our HD service,” said Charles Segars, CEO, Ovation.  “We have an aggressive distribution strategy planned for this year and anticipate several new deals within the first quarter.”  

Ovation HD is now available on channel 1326 on Time Warner Cable in North and South Carolina.   In the Dallas Metro area, the channel is available on Time Warner Cable channel 707.  In Bakersfield, CA, Brighthouse now has Ovation HD on channel 1211.

WOW!, a member of the NCTC cooperative, launched Ovation SD and HD on December 21 on channels 382 and 215 respectively in Chicago.  In the Gulf Breeze Florida market, Mediacom now has Ovation on channel 256.
