Ovation on Demand Launches on Comcast's XFinity on Demand Service
Ovation on Demand Now Available to More Than 25 Million Households
Santa Monica, CA -- March 5, 2012 -- Ovation, the only multi-platform network dedicated to art, artists and artistic storytelling, announced the launch of its VOD service on Xfinity on Demand in markets across the country, such as Boston, San Francisco, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Detroit. Available to the vast majority of Comcast’s Xfinity TV customers, Ovation on Demand brings viewers access to exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews, specials and series. Ovation On Demand programming currently available on Xfinity on Demand includes exclusive interview segments filmed during the Ovation-sponsored Film Independent Film Series at LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) with actors George Clooney, Beau Bridges, Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Leavitt, and Anna Kendrick; recent Academy Award®-winner, director Alexander Payne, screenwriter Will Reiser; screenwriter/director Quentin Tarantino and director/producer/screenwriter/actor Werner Herzog. This month, Xfinity TV customers can also access insightful documentaries and specials such as Jay-Z: An Unauthorized Biography, The Search for Robert Johnson, Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison, Icons: Madonna, Behind the Label: Zac Posen, Behind the Label: Diane Von Furstenberg, and the Ovation original series In Search of Food. Plus, Ovation on Demand is currently featuring the series Art Star exclusively for VOD viewers, and its original movie We’ll Take Manhattan.
Ovation on Demand is now available in the “Life & Home” section of Comcast’s Xfinity on Demand service, with additional series included in the “TV Series” category.
