Ovation TV Adds 500K Subs Through New Distribution Deals with Comcast, Charter and Time Warner

SANTA MONICA -- October 6, 2009   Ovation TV, the only multi-platform network dedicated to art and contemporary culture, is announcing plans to launch an HD simulcast channel in 3Q 2010.  In addition, the network has recently added 500,000 additional subscribers to its base through recent distribution deals with Comcast, Charter and Time Warner Cable.  The announcements were made today by Ron Garfield, EVP, Ovation TV.

“We have been providing HD content to our customers for 18 months now through Ovation TV HD VOD.  Our decision to launch Ovation TV HD is a natural progression in the evolution of the network.  Our affiliates always comment on how great our content would look in HD. They see it as great addition to their growing HD offerings,” said Garfield.
