Question of the Week: What is your Favorite Fashion Epoch?
Edie Parker: 1960s and 1970s
Ryan Roche: When I was in 1st grade I asked my mom to make me a Valentine’s day dress to wear to school. My mom would always tell me “we don’t have to buy it, we can make it and make it better!” I told her what I wanted, a white satin taffeta with white lace, puff sleeves and lots of ruffles. I wore a high side pony tail and matching white satin flats. I was the only girl at school that day in a white satin taffeta party dress and it was a moment of happiness and feeling of success, I will never forget.
Orley: Men’s fashion was pretty good in the 1400’s, I am big on pajamas as daywear.
Eva Fehren: NOW
Grey Ant: 1976-1982
Tanya Taylor: Late 1960s – full of passion and courage.
Simon Miller: We’ve been developing a lot of stonewashed jeans recently, which really became popular in the 70s – it was a great decade for denim.
