![]() | SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, AD SALES Deborah Cuffaro is Senior Vice President, Advertising Sales, of Ovation TV, where her responsibilities include overseeing the network's advertising sales efforts including the development of new strategies and initiatives to position Ovation TV within the media buying community. She is based in the network's New York offices. She is a veteran media and entertainment professional with extensive experience building, directing and managing profitable enterprises. She has extensive and broad experience in local, national and network advertising sales environments and has created, designed and implemented integrated solutions for cable affiliates, regional news channels and emerging cable networks. Most recently Ms. Cuffaro was Vice President of Business Development for National Cable Communications, responsible for the launch of major initiatives - including local/regional news channels. She also launched a multicultural division that developed a nationwide presence to compete for multicultural ad budgets, and a strategic account-selling division that focused on bringing major accounts to spot cable, utilizing new technology to create solutions for clients. She was also Senior Vice President for Rainbow Advertising Sales Corp. (a division of Cablevision), where she was responsible for creating and managing sales efforts for both internal and external customers in diverse business units such as Cable Networks Inc (CNI), Regional News Rep (RNR), as well as MUCHMUSIC (Fuse). Ms. Cuffaro also served as general manager for Time Warner Communications managing a large staff within operations, news, programming, production, engineering, advertising sales, traffic and promotions. She oversaw the development and launch of an award-winning 24-hour news channel with cost-effective technology intensive infrastructure. Additionally, she worked in sales for Malrite Communications and Viacom Communications in various markets including West Palm Beach, FL, and Rochester, NY. She earned a bachelor's degree from State University of New York at Brockport. |
