Monumental Vision: in Slovakia
The sites featured in this episode include: the Spis Castle, one if the largest medieval castle complexes in central Europe covering over 4 hectares and dating back over 2,500 years; the High Tatras framed by a 24 km long ridge, 32 valleys and a highest peak at 2655m. Outdoor artist Andrew Rogers especially wanted to work in Slovakia to meet with and help create earth artwork with the Romanian Gypsies to connect with their ancient past.
