David Alfaro Siqueiros: Artist and Warrior
David Alfaro Siqueiros (1896-1974) was a leader of the Mexican Mural Movement, dedicated to producing a popular, public and political art for a revolutionary society. He was the most politically active of all the Muralists and his work is full of the struggle and suffering of the oppressed for whom he fought. The style of this fast-paced documentary about Siqueiros's life and work communicates the visceral impact of his art and the stormy, iconoclastic personality of the man himself.
