Bathroom Divas: Season 2, Episode 3
Singing hopefuls from all walks of life transform themselves from singing in the shower to performing opera on stage in the first season of "Bathroom Divas: So You Want To Be A Soap Star?" After a cross-country search for raw operatic talent, six finalists are hand-picked to participate in an extensive opera boot camp and one of the protégés ultimately wins the title of Bathroom Diva. After a call for submissions, judges Mary Lou Fallis (soprano professor/comedienne), Tom Diamond (opera director/drama coach), Daniel Lichti (bass-baritone/professor) and Liz Upchurch (pianist/vocal coach) travel to Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax to audition hundreds of opera-star wannabes. From this country's deep talent pool, six finalists are selected to take part in an extensive three-week opera boot camp in Toronto. Following the first vote-off, another diva becomes ill, jeopardizing his/her chance at performing. The coaches give tough love to another diva who has the most to gain from the competition. Guest judges Mary Morrison (soprano/professor) and Peter Tiefenbach (pianist/composer) evaluate the candidates' performances on this week's episode.
