Last night’s Season 2 Finale named luxury footwear and accessories designer Paul Andrew as its newest winner and recipient of the coveted CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award. Andrew blew judges away all season with a brand that expresses modern sophistication and comfort. Haute and comfortable? Yes, please.
With a grand prize of $300,000 to develop his label and a mentorship with an industry veteran, we can’t wait to see where Paul Andrew takes his brand! Jewelry designer Eva Fehren and pink lady Ryan Roche were the season’s runners-up. They will each also receive a mentorship and $100,000 toward their brand.
2014 marks the CVFF program’s 11th year, and Mr. Andrew will now join the ranks of former winners including Dao-Yi Chow & Maxwell Osborne for Public School (2013), Greg Chait (2012), Joseph Altuzarra (2011), Billy Reid (2010), Sophie Theallet (2009), Alexander Wang (2008), Rogan Gregory (2007) and Doo-Ri Chung (2006).
Congratulations again to Paul Andrew, Ryan Roche, and Eva Fehren, and all of this season’s talented finalists. We are sure to see you in the future of fashion.
