Valparaíso: Street Art Capital of South America

Valparaíso: Street Art Capital of South America

Street art decorates the Chilean seaside city Valparaíso. Known to locals as Valpo, the city is built on overlapping hills. Pablo Neruda was known to retreat here, maintaining a hillside home overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Today many colorful homes line Valpo’s hillsides and paintings fill its streets and cobblestone alleyways.

What if your town was covered in art? Welcome to Valparaíso!
