OVATION TV CELEBRATES LGBTQ PRIDE MONTH 2023 WITH WEEK-DAY MORNING LINEAR PROGRAMMING AND A CURATED ON-DEMAND LINEUP OF SERIES & FILMS

For 2023’s Pride Month, Ovation TV, America’s premier arts network, recognizes LGBTQ artists and artistry across all mediums through week-day morning linear programming and in Celebrating Pride, a curated on-demand lineup in Ovation NOW destination Arthouse. Titles will be available on-demand starting Thursday, June 1st and on linear during the weeks of June 5th and June 12th.

Every week-day morning for two weeks starting on Monday, June 5th at 6am ET, Ovation will air a specially curated lineup of programming celebrating LGBTQ artists and their artistry. Titles include Lil Nas X: Unlikely Cowboy, The Art Of: Drag, and Rebels on Pointe, the 2017 documentary from filmmaker Bobbi Jo Hart that reveals the history of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, the all-male, drag ballet company founded over 40 years ago on the heels of New York’s Stonewall riots. Starting on June 1, the arts network highlights LGBTQ artists who have made a significant impact on the national and international stage, with series and films Celebrating Pride. All titles below will be available during the month of June, free to all, in the Arthouse destination on the Ovation NOW app. The Ovation NOW app is free to download and is available on Roku, Android, Apple TV, and iOS devices.

Lil Nas X: Unlikely Cowboy: Montero Lamar Hill, also known as Lil Nas X, rose to fame with the release of his country rap single “Old Town Road,” which went viral on social media in 2019 before climbing music charts internationally and becoming the song of the year.

London Live – Rita Ora: Rita Ora performs a collection of great hits in a private performance for this London Live special. The show also includes an exclusive and very entertaining interview with the star herself.

Pop Profiles – Demi Lovato: Demi Lovato’s story is told chronologically through her major hit singles. New interviews with emerging pop acts, music journalists, and record producers add insight into her life.

Rebels on Pointe: Exploring universal themes of identity, dreams and family, Rebels on Pointe is the first-ever documentary film celebrating the world famous Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo.
