For February 2022, the lineup’s theme is “Trekking Africa.” The monthly anchor, a JOURNY premiere, is a docuseries entitled On Safari that becomes available in its entirety starting on February 1.

Lost Kingdoms of Africa
British art historian and expert Dr. Gus Casely- Hayford explores the rich and vibrant histories of the African continent. He tells fascinating stories of their complex and sophisticated kingdoms: Asante, Zulu, Berber of Morocco, Bunyoro, and Buganda. Despite the lack of written records, the histories of these kingdoms emerge from artifacts and oral traditions of the people.
David Rocco’s Dolce Africa
David Rocco is on the road again! This time he tells the lesser-known stories of the world’s oldest continent: Africa. From ancient tribal villages and rural working farms to breathtaking natural parks and big bustling cities, David explores the rich and diverse cultures and culinary worlds of Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar, and South Africa with curiosity, an open heart, and an open mind.
