Roy Clark, Hee Haw Host, and Guitarist, Dies in Oklahoma

The country guitarist, who hosted the TV show Hee Haw with Buck Owens for 24 years, died Thursday at 85 in his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Roy Clark was known for his hits “Yesterday, When I Was Young,” “Honeymoon Feeling,” and “Tips of My Fingers.” He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2009, was a Grand Ole Opry member, and a GRAMMY, CMA, and ACM award winner. Clark was a celebrated multi-instrument virtuoso, playing the guitar, banjo, fiddle, harmonica, mandolin, and other instruments.
