Ovation’s AVOD Travel Channel to Also Add Three Current Series to Live Feed
Los Angeles, CA: JOURNY, the free AVOD travel channel from Ovation TV, America’s only arts network, is host to two new exciting travel series in January 2021. The first series, Awesome Adventures, takes teens ages 13 to 16 on incredible journeys all over the world. The second series, Xploration Awesome Planet with Philippe Cousteau, explores the most spectacular places – on the Earth, inside the Earth, and above the Earth. Both series are currently streaming on JOURNY.
In Awesome Adventures the destinations and activities are diverse, from ice climbing the glaciers in Iceland to trekking next to lava in the islands of Hawaii. The series has won numerous awards, and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Travel Series. Two seasons (total of 23 episodes), with respective hosts Christopher Scott Grimaldi and Nicole Dabeau, are currently available to binge on JOURNY.
Xploration Awesome Planet with Philippe Cousteau travels across the world and explores such topics as cultural science, animal migrations, the Great Barrier Reef, and the Appalachian Mountains. JOURNY presents two seasons (26 episodes) of the series, which is hosted by the grandson of Jacques Cousteau.
JOURNY also continues to expand its live feed offering by adding its most popular content, including: two seasons of Travel Man, hosted by Richard Ayoade; the Daytime Emmy award-winning series Rock the Park, which explores the beauty of America’s National Parks; and the first season of Chasing the Sun, which highlights travel in North and South America.
